My buddy Stitch has been asked by the very talented Ms Barbara Jensen to do a collaboration. Stitch draws her artwork into digis, and Ms Jensen in turn turns some of Stitchys digis into clipart. The best bit of all of this is - I get to play with the digis hehehehe goody goody!!
Now this image has been called "Brite Eyes" by our Stitch (I don't know if that is the name from when Barbara did the original or not, as all this tag art and stuff is new to me) and I love it! You can buy it from Stitchy Bear Stamps store here. There are more in the pipeline and some maybe a little naughty, (great for fellas cards hehehe) so if they appear I will be putting them in a seperate blog away from little un's eyes if you get my meaning.
Anyway onto my card.
I hope you like it and don't forget there is still time to enter our Easter Egg Hunt/challenge over at OSAAT. Don't forget there are vouchers from Simon Says store up for grabs for the top 3 as chosen by us all this week.
Take care all

Stitchy Bear's Easter Egg Hunt
Hi everyone we have loads of fun organised for you this week and hopefully you've come to me from Lexi. We are celebrating everyone being in the store with a grand opening BLOG HOP. We have all the creators new releases for our projects this week - I have CJ AKA Cowgirl Up Stamps and this cute bunny and eggs called "Eggdrop". I haven't made a card - it's just a .... thing! I incorporated a penny slider into the bottom - It's been keeping my daughter and husband quiet for hours just sitting there tipping it from side to side, and to prove it works I took a little video with my camera and put it on you tube and put it on here for you all to see. I've decoupaged the image and the eggs and I hope you can see that in the second piccy. The background print it's all mounted onto is a freebie from scrapbookscrapbook.com - they have loads on there for Easter, baptisms you name it I think they've got it.
Right now for the list of challenges I'm going to enter this into.
I love digi Easter

Quick update
As some of you may have noticed from a previous post, I'm doing a sponsored slim in aid of my daughters school (they need a new classroom to be built). Anyway I just got weighed and amazingly I have lost 4 lbs in the last week. I am really chuffed and hope I can keep it up.
Have a lovely day whatever you do.

WOYWW - a sewing machine?
Yes first thing this morning (6.10am) there was a sewing machine on my table as I had to sew in a patch on my jeans last night. I've had this sewing machine for about 8 years now and used it about 3 times....terrible ain't I? I only bought it back then because I had to make my eldest daughter an angel outfit for a nativity play. Can you guess I don't sew by hand - only because they cramp up if I do which is a pain as I quite like cross stitch but it'd take me about a month to do a bit the size of a small bookmark.
Anyway onto my mess this week. There is a fair bit of mess to the right of the machine as I had to clear a space for the beast, oh and I was asked what the tall grey thing was last week. That is my OTT-LITE daylight foldaway lamp. You can't beat them for crafting in the evenings.
Oh and just to prove I do actually know how to use my sewing machine, here's a piccy of the patch all sewn on and doing what it's meant to do on my leg (yayyyy it hasn't broken yet lol).
Okay I'm now off to have a bit of a nosy around everyone elses workspaces now. So if you want to join in the fun,pop over here to the Stamping Ground and have a peek.
Take care all

Easter Egg basket minus the eggs
I've made this little basket for my daughter to put some mini eggs in for Easter, but it has no eggs well not yet anyway! Two reasons for this, one very simply we don't have any yet and the second reason is that I've just started a sponsored slim to raise funds for her school as they need a new classroom and I can do without the temptation - chocolate is my FAV! I picked up the tutorial from Splitcoast stampers and changed the size, which is very easy to do as it is very basic. Gonna try something a little more adventurous next time, but anyway onto my little basket.
I'm also entering it into a few challenges
Charisma something for the kiddies
Creative Inspirations anything but a card
One Stop Craft let it shine
Stampin for the Weekend Easter
The image is by Angela of Sew Many Challenges and I have coloured it with my Whispers Strokes pens, and then glittered the eggs and a bit on the bow.
I just wanted to share this with you all too. My daughter brought this home from school yesterday and at the moment I have no where to hang it for her.
On another note, don't forget you still have time to enter into our "Vintage" challenge over at OSAAT and if you need vintage images check out the store and Junes place Dezinaworld.
Take care all and I'm sure I'll be back with some other bits real soon.

Whoo hooo I'm back to doing challenges- get in!!
I'm really pleased with myself and I feel so much more human again now I'm back to entering some challenges again. Anyway this little card uses a digi stamp by Lexi which you can buy HERE and it's called "Easter Lillie with Tulips".
And now for the challenges I'm entering it into.
Bee Crafty Spring
MAWTT Sketch and an open theme
Quirky Crafts Flowers
Rosie-D's Green Yellow and white.
Simple Doodles Show a little green
Simon Says Show us your greens
Fab N Funky Use something new (my digi stamp)
Creative Cottage Flowers
Frosted Designs Spring/Flowers
Totally Gorjuss Ribbon
Challenge up your Life Flowers
Thanks to Susan for finding me a few more challenges to follow and enter - cheers babe.
I moved the flower down a little from the sketch because it obstructed the digi image too much and you couldn't see the ribbon at all. The colours aren't showing up as good as they could but it's a little dull here every now and then. The sun pokes his head out when he can be bothered, but decided to go in when I took my photo....typical!!
Okay, well that's me done for now, I'm off to make a pie for our dinner today.
Take care

Vintage challenge at OSAAT
Well there is another week gone but at least I feel like I've had a fairly productive week for a change and it's that time of week again. It's challenge time at OSAAT and we have yet another fantastic sponsor in the form of June and Dezinaworld. June has a fabulous range of vintage images and I believe there is even papers there too (I'm so bad I haven't been there for ages - slap wrists for me!). And if that isn't a big enough hint along with the title hehehe then I'll just say it again for good measure - we have a vintage challenge going on this week.
I've made a 4x4 with Junes gorgeous 1897 cupid. I do have some vintage stuff but I also struggle with it so it doesn't get taken out of it's packaging very often but this time, as soon as I decided to do a 4x4 it just went together like bread and butter with a smidging of jam.
I took some card that I have and cut it to 4 inches square. Then I inked it with my Whispers archival ink pads and put some clear embossing powder over it and then put my heat gun over it so that I got a stippled effect. Next I attached some lace that a buddy sent me in a RAK some time ago now. I had already printed the image out 3 times with the intent of decoupaging it. I cut around the edge with my trusty deckle edged scissors and stuck the bottom one on to some blacky gold cardstock from my stash. Then I set to the decoupage part by cutting out the elements that I wanted and then used my silicone glue to put it all together. I mounted the completed image on some foam tape and stuck it on at a squiffy angle....oooo hark at me getting all technical hahahaha. I found some of my lovely vintage charms and my beads, put that all together and attached with a brad. Then I put some dimensional stickers (which I found buried in my stash at the same time as the charms) on the corners.
Wow - I don't remember the last time I waffled like that, amazing what happens when things fall into place.
Take care now and I hope to see you in our challenge this week.

Wow!!
In two days time it's my blog-irthday (I have to be different so I'm not having a bloggerversary). Where has this last year gone? Baring in mind I only managed to get a blog while I was trying to figure out how to comment on my buddies from Trimcrafts blogs - it was a total mistake. And now here I am, a year later and still none the wiser. No seriously, I have had a lot of help from a few lovely ladies along the way, and I have learned so much and got so many new friends not least of all my partner in crime - Stitchy!!! And bless her, she even teaches me a bit every now and then about PSP (no mean feat!!)
Anyway, I'd just like to say thanks to all of you guys that follow me and even those of you that just pop by every now and then and leave me such lovely comments - this girly really appreciates each and every one of you.

Crikey....whats going on here then???
Can you believe it - I've got another card for you guys. This time it's a card for my little brother who finally passed his driving test the other day. I haven't got any cars in my stash of stamps (digi or rubber) apart from one that is like a F1 car - not really appropriate I don't think.
So I had to improvise. I ended up being really brave with myself and doodling the whole thing - I'm not really brave coz I did it in pencil first but the essence of it is an L plate being ripped up. Then I found a doodle type font on my computer called Ebba (I think I might use this again as I really like it), and wrote the 2 sentiments and printed them onto gloss photo card (too thick for paper), then cut them out and doodled round the edges.
Viola - the finished item.
Right I really must get on with dinner and getting the washing in off the line, so I'll catch all you lovely peeps lalter on.
Take care

Yasmins Birthday
Where have the last 15 years gone?!! It is my middle daughters birthday today and she is 15 - blimey!! Anyway I made this card for her with a digi stamp by my mate Stitchy which you can pick up from the store HERE. As I asked for an emo girl that is what the lovely Stitch made for me and in honour of my daughter she named her "Yasmin". I have coloured her fairly softly but that was only to go with the backing paper, which is made up of some images that my blogging buddy and fellow DT member Susan found for me on the web somewhere - all I have is the initials of TS hehehee.
Anyway, I hope my middle baby likes it even though it doesn't have horses on it (I got fed up of doing horses every year).
I'll be back shortly with another litle creation and guess what - I have challenges to enter it into YAYYYY!!!!

WOYWW - there is a table there honest!!!
Well I've been missing in action for the last few weeks - possibly buried under all my stuff and to be honest I did clear this off again just the other day but it only takes me a minute to make a mess hehehe. You'll see all sorts of works in progress here at the moment along with the new Stamp-it freebies that came with my mag this morning. There are loads of digi stamps printed off ready to colour and make into loveliness (I hope) and a few that are already coloured that are in the process of being made into cards at the mo. I may even have one to enter in a challenge later on tonight - whoo hooo. I haven't entered any challenges for ages so it feels good to be getting the time to do some now.
Okay then onto my mess - I can see the poor ambulance service being run ragged in a short while, so if you are of a certain disposition (in other words you are one of these NEAT crafters) please look away now.
Thanks for stopping by my mess, I hope to visit some of the other girls too (I hope Susie is here this week - she always makes me feel better hehehe - luvs ya Susie!) Oh and if you would like to join in the fun you can do so HERE

And Breathe......
Hi all, this is the first of two quick posts this afternoon as I still have to do dinner and get my washing in - roll on when my daughter is older and she can help a bit.
Anyway this card uses a beautiful image from Michelle Perkett via the fabulous Special 50/50 club. I'm into my pencils again at the moment so I've coloured this beautiful mermaid image in with my pencils and no they're nothing special - just regular pencils and a few watercolours and a couple of metallic ones for good measure. Oh and I couldn't resist a bit of glitter. Oh I tell a lie, I did use my copics for her skin as it looks so much better than my pencils for skin (well I think so anyway). The backing paper is just some wrapping paper that I have lying around (if it doesn't move or isn't used then it's fair game for my craft stash hehehe) and then 2 piece of ric-rac ribbon and a flower from stash, with yes you've guessed it some more glitter - a mixture of red and gold as I don't have orange. And that is it for this post, oh apart from the piccy - so here it is.

While I have 5 minutes........
I thought I'd tell you a bit more about our challenge over at OSAAT this week. Sunday was soo manic I didnt get to tell you anything on my post at all so I hope you are all listening hehehehee. Basically this week we have a recipe and we want to see.......CHOCOLATE MUFFINS!!! No seriously thats just me wanting chocolate and cake our real recipe is -
1 ribbon
2 Designer/backing papers and
2 Brads or eyelets.
We also have a totally awesome sponsor this week in the form of Susie Sugar from Die Cut Dreams and the fabby prize that you will be winning this week as our overall winner is sitting on her desk as we speak. All sort of yummy die cuts for you to use on your gorgeous creations. Shame I can't enter. Anyway I'm hoping to enter some challenges again soon as things are falling into place just nicely at OSAAT now - we are turning into a well oiled machine and if you guys know any of us lot on the team, you'll know that is no mean feat! I'm slowly getting organised ( I'm the weak link over here for organisation) but dont expect a tidy table tomorrow for WOYWW. I work best in chaos I think.
Okay thats me done for today I think - unless I get a card done that is! so take care out there and happy crafting.

I had OSAAT near enough done yesterday - only had to add the piccies and the links and I kept getting distracted by the choccies didn't I. Okay so here is my very quick post because being Sunday I have loads to do even though it's mothers day.
I used Ashtyn by Cowgirl up Stamps which you can buy here at the store.
Okay take care all and you mums out there enjoy your day. I got to go out now and see ours now.

Two cards for today
Good morning everyone, things are now starting to run like clockwork over at OSAAT so I've had time to make a couple of cards (well three actually but one is my DT creation for Sunday so you'll have to wait for that one I'm afraid).
One card is a really girly one using a stamp by CJ who now goes under the name of Cowgirl up stamps, which you can find at Stitchy Bear Stamps, and the other is one I picked up as I am a member of The special 50/50 and is by Kitchen mama (I think - you know me and my names of designers).
This stamp is called Ashtyn and she is so gorgeous (I'm just jealous of her hair really - if I tried doing something like that I'd just look like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards!) This one I have coloured with Artists Pastels (square chalk to me and you) and then blended with a cotton bud (q-tips is what I think you call them over the pond). I've used paper from the big box thats on my table and it's trimcraft or dovecraft (all the same really) and I think the chipboard shapes are from the same design as the paper.
This one is an image from Kitchen Mama called carrot cake. To make the background on the card base, I just took a little cupcake stamp, (yes a proper stamp I do still remember how to use them) in two colours - the ones I used to colour the card stock behind the main images. Then I took a bit of the foamy stuff - cut n dry is it ? brain drain going on at the minute and coloured the background so it wasn't so "in your face" as it were. I had coloured 4 carrot cupcakes with my watercolour pencils and cut one up and layered it up onto one of the 3 that was left. All simple but I really like the way it's turned out for a change.
I may be back with a couple more cards, it depends on whether I get time to actually make them.
Take care all

Two more down - one to go!
Why is it sometimes so difficult to make different cards for those closest to us?Well finally I got my brother-in-laws and my other nephews cards done and I found some piccies online that I believe were intended for use as wallpapers either on the computer or your mobile phones. One is for Liverpool and the other is for Chelsea. I've taken the badge in each case and cut it out and lifted it away from the main image. Both were found at Football-wallpapers.com. I just hope the boys like them now.
Okay just my middle daughters birthday to do now heheheehe.
Take care everyone and I'll be back soon.

Computer card
Just got the piccies done of this one that I have made for my nephew. He's not your regular 13 year old boy that's into cars, bikes, football, girls etc, etc you get my drift so I had to think about this one and it just came to me last night - a computer in the form of an easel card!!! This little idea appeared after I found two fonts on my computer. Okay enough yapping - here's my card.
I think I'll make a few of these for my store, nice easy jobbies heheheehe.

Two new cards yahooo!!
I feel more like my normal self now having just made two cards. One is going to my little blujay store and the other slightly cheeky one is for my mums birthday.
Both the papers and the image are by Stamping Dragon Designs who I do DT work for. I thought I ought to do something for her as I haven't been able to do anything lately with getting the challenge blog off the ground. So here you go hun - two for the price of one hehehe.
The sentiment on my mums card, I typed up in Open Office and then printed off along with some other bits so I didn't waste a whole sheet.
Got another three cards that I have to make for imminent birthdays still so I'd better get on.
Take care

Finally.......
A new card to show you all. This one has only been in the offing for the last month. Terrible ain't it!! I just haven't been able to find the time to do hardly anything these last few weeks and I really do need to as I have my nephews, my mums, my brother-in-laws and not forgetting my middle daughters birthday all coming up in the next 2 weeks. Luckily my mothers day cards are done so that's one less worry for me at the minute.
Onto this card - the image is one I picked up from The Special 50/50 by Bugaboo Stamps last month. As I've coloured him in blue he's a boy on this occasion, and he's such a cheeky chappy don't you think!
He has been coloured with my copics (he was coloured before I thought I'd give them a well deserved break) and I think it's basically a "Joy" card and I had a lot of fun making it really. As usual with me, it changed it's look every 5 minutes as I went along. Unless it's a sketch I don't go to any plan - it just happens.
Take care and if I don't see you before I'll see you all on Sunday with my project for our next challenge at OSAAT.

Whoo hooo!!! New digi store....
Hi there crafty buddies - I can't contain myself any longer! I just have to let you know about the new store. Some of you may have noticed a revamp of our challenge blog OSAAT. We are now brought to you by Stitchy Bear Stamps which is my buddy Stitch and her buddy Sue's (you may know her as Beary Dust stamps) new venture. They were just embarking on this venture when we all got the news of Digital-Inks closure. This left a few of the girls with nowhere to sell their wares so they have all got together and opened a new store called Stitchy Bear Stamps.
The store is now open, but please "Bear" with them as it takes some time to change all their previews and then upload - remember some of these girls had over 100 products. You'll most probably see new stuff in there before you see a lot of the older stuff come in as they can add these to the new preview easier than they can change the old stuff.
I personally think they have done very well to get this open in such a short time, so please give them a little time for things to start going in (remember some of them have jobs too). If I could help them I would but all the PSPing is a little over my head still and zen cart...well I can buy easy enough lol......
I do hope you'll pop over and visit them soon - remember, they need a little time to get your old favs in there but you will start seeing bits trickle in there now.
Take care
