Digital Ink co Holiday Special
Sorry I'm late here with my DT bits. I thought the launch was noon not midnight - oopsie!! Anyway better late than never I say. Okay, well if I can stop rabbiting on for a moment about me being a blithering idiot and onto the new revamped challenges at Digital Ink Co.
In this challenge you will need to create any paper craft (using at least one Digital-Ink Co. stamp) and use a line or theme of any Christmas song!
You'll need to use a Digital Ink Co stamp but some of the girls have provided for your use, a few freebies. You can get them by going here
I was given "Chilly Penguin" from Whimsy Design Studio (http://denisesstampingpage.blogspot.com/ check out her fab work here) to work with and he's such a cute little chap too. I've made a little dangly decoration for around the home. I've also made a couple of cards too but only got one photo of one of them.
I'm still a big kid when it comes to Christmas. I'm getting ready to get the old decs out as I write this. I normally put them all up on the 1st December, but I need a new Christmas tree this year so I might be a week late. I still get up at silly o'clock even though I've normally badgered the life out of James, my husband, until he lets me have my present early so I don't very often have anything to open until any relatives pop over. Sometimes I even have to wait until Boxing Day to get any more pressies, but I love unwrapping presents almost as much as I love wrapping them,so it's worth the wait!!!
I unwrap things a little more slowly though since getting into card making, well waste not want not. I might use that paper on a card one day!!!!
Anyway I hope you all join us in our new two weekly challenges and remember, Cosmo Cricket is sponsoring us for this first challenge back and there are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places so what are you waiting for- don't be a clutz like me and get your times muddled up - you've got TWO weeks remember not just one, so get creating and show us your funky Christmas stuff.

Two more cards
Okay I'm gonna need some help here please. One of the images I found via some elses blog and I must have forgotten to follow it and so now I can't remember who she is to give her the credit and pass you on to her. When I find her or someone points me in the right direction I'll link her up here.
Anyway, the image I do know is Mrs Tilly Claus by Wendy of Digital Doodling and this one as well as being a Christmas card for someone is going to be entered into the challenge at Susie Sugars craftbubble forum (although knowing me I'm too late now). You can't see it but there is white flock on the snowflakes and on the bottom of her sleeves and coat there is pink flock as well as around the sentiment and the lines at the side. The image for this one has been coloured with my Copics.
The second image is of Mary, Joseph and Jesus together and this image just caught my eye and I had to have it. Just for a change I've actually used pencils (shock - horror!!!!) and not my copics. As I said previously, when I find the artist of this particular digi, I'll link back here. Ah-ha I've found her and guess what I am following i just forgot what her blog name was DUH?! Anyway her name is Alison from Stretch n' Bubbles so do go and pay her a visit if you get a chance.
Okay well that's me done for today - well at the moment anyway heheheehe
Just one last thing - Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys in the USA....have a good one and take care ya'll
Sorry that just slipped out

Whoooppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the title may say most of what I want to say but heck I'm gonna tell you all anyway. I just won the AWESOME candy at Leah l'Orange's place http://thechroniclesoforange.blogspot.com/ . Do go and check out this funky ladies blog - she is so talented and funny too.
Anyway for those of you that missed the picture that was on my sidebar, this is what I've won.

The Crafty Pad challenge # 47
It's a little while since I did anything for the Crafty Pad so I thought I'd make a quick one in between doing all the housework today. Anyway this week it's another lovely sketch by Maxine.
I've used Christmas Ted - Posting his card with a little square of the paper pack designed by Stitchy (click on her name to take you to her blog) with some bits of sticky ribbon that I've had like...forever and to finish it off I've stamped a "Seasons Greetings" sentiment from Papermanias Clear stamp selection "Let It Snow".
Okay I'm now off to enter into the challenge - tomorrow there should be some more bits and pieces as I've got loads of images coloured ready to go.
Take care all

Digital Ink Co and Saturday Spotlight challenges
Afternoon all. Well I'm not sure if I got the gist of the Masterboard challenge right or not but I'm sure the lovely ladies there will let me know one way or the other.
Okay then first things first. I'm entering this card for the challenges at Digital Ink Co and Saturday Spotlight
At DI-Co the challenge is a sketch and to be honest I've followed it to the letter apart from adding a sentiment in the corner. The silhoutte is of course one of Stitchys creations
The challenge at Saturday Spotlight was to make a Masterboard and the top picture shows my interpretation of the instructions that you are directed to.
Anyhoo off to enter the challenges .... oh and I'll be back in a mo with another one.

Fall Blessings Notelets
Said I'd be back. Anyway this is a set of notelets I've made to go into my shop Yammas Makes (the link is around somewhere) with yep you've guessed it, StitchyStamps http://stitchystamps.blogspot.com/. This one is called "Fall Blessings" and I love it and that's the reason why I've made a set of notelets. Anyway, I've coloured them with my copic ciao pens (love them to bits - can't stop using them), gone around the outside with chalks and on the leaves I've also glossed them up - not that you can see it - with a clear Sakura Glaze pen.
Right I'm off to update my slide show at the top of my blog with my new stuff, so I'll catch you guys later.
Bye for now

PaperPlay challenge
Afternoon all. This is a quick post for the challenge over at Paperplay http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/ . Well it's a recipe of 1 Ribbon, 2 patterned papers and 3 buttons.
The two papers were in my bit box from last Christmas, the ribbon is the remnants of some sticky ribbon that I had buried in my ribbon drawer. The buttons are lickle dinky ones that my mum got me a couple of years ago threaded onto some thin wire with some beads that were in my stash.
The image is of course one of Stitchys http://stitchystamps.blogspot.com/ " Let it Snow". He looks to me like he's doing a snow angel, so if you look very closely on the close up piccy and maybe squint a bit you can make out some glitter where I think his legs and wings have been flapping up and down as you do.
I'll be back in a mo with some thing else right after I've entered this into the challenge.

Two new cards
Evening all, here is a couple of cards that I've been making in the last couple of days. I'll have another four for you tomorrow. They just need a couple of bits but I'm not sure what - I think it's just a sentiment mainly....apart from that they are all done and then they'll go into my shop at Folksy. The top one is an image one of my buddies sent me for my birthday so thanks hun, you will know who you are (there were 2 of you and you both sent me different images) and the bottom one is my first Mo Manning image - "They grow so fast" is the title I think and I think it's a fab image.
Oh well that's it for today, back tomorrow with more bits....til then

Christmas Cards
Morning all. Just a quicky to show you some of the cards that I made the other night. Coloured a couple of images in yesterday but ended up swearing at my old lappy (I was relegated to that one as hubby was on this one) and watched telly most of the night starting with Star Wars and then we watched Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer. That bloke makes me die laughing but I don't really know why - maybe coz he doesn't pretend to be uber glamourous, who knows!!!
Anyway I'm still feeling a bit rough, dodgy stomach and stuff now, but I've got to go shopping coz if I let hubby do it, all we'll have is biscuits, crisps, mousses and doughnuts. Why is it when we are ill (women that is) we still have to do everything, but when men get ill, the world has to stop!?
Oh well must go, need to take some tablets for the sinusitus again.
Sam x
Oh by the way - did you see the lovely little award Stitchy made for us DT girls that make stuff with her digis. Cheers hun.....oh and another thing I am now on Twitter (what am I doing - I must be mad!!!!) so I'll be updating on there when I add stuff to my blog or my shop.
Take care all

Breast Cancer Freebie digi stamp
Hi guys. Just a short one, but if you go to StitchyStamps right now you can download this gorgeous digi for free. I'd like to think that, if you do make cards to sell, and you do manage to sell any with this image on you'll donate a percentage to the Breast Cancer charity. I know when I get a chance to make some with this image they will be going into my shop on Folksy stating that 50% will be going to the charity. So if anyone knows how I can send monies raised to them I'd appreciate a heads up - that or I've got to get google working on it.
Have a lovely weekend everyone

Digital Ink Co Challenge
Coo I thought they were taking it easy on us this week. This is for the challenge at Digital Ink Co http://digital-inkcochallenge.blogspot.com/ Not the easiest colour combo to utilise but I've done my best to get the colours that they were showing. The stamp is a digi from a set by Stitchy Stamps http://stitchystamps.blogspot.com called Cuppa Warm and the backing paper is some I designed myself on PagePlus 9 as I didn't have anything in my stash that was the right colour.
Right, I'm off to enter this into the challenge now, but don't go looking for me tomorrow as we have no electric from 8.30 am to 4.30pm GMT so I may just stay in bed all day tomorrow.
Take care peeps

Magical Crafty and Incy Challenges
Hi all these bits are going into the about mentioned challenges but the heart decoration is only going into one, and that's where we'll start. Over at the Magical Crafts Fortnightly challenge blog http://magicalcraftsfortnightlychallenge.blogspot.com/ they've sort of got two challenges for the price of one. The colours are Red Gold and Green and you can make a card or a decoration or both so I opted for both. The Heart is a download from Canon CREATIVE PARK so you can all have a go but I have only decorated the one side but you have enough for doing both.
And so to the card. It's based on a sketch at Incy Wincy Designs blog http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ and at The Crafty Pad http://thecraftypad.blogspot.com/ as well as the Magical Crafts blog the challenge is in the colour scheme of Red Gold and Green.
Hope that all makes sense, it might be a little garbled as I've been having a bit of fun today with blogger and the set up, but nevermind eh?!

Morning Peoples
Hi all, I've been a little quiet because I've been playing. I've been asked by Stitchy of Stitchy Stamps to be her personal DT for her digi stamps and images. Of course, I jumped at the chance, in fact I think I nearly jumped into her living room...which isn't bad going as I am one side of the pond here in Blighty and she is t'other side up a mountain in NY state!!!
Anyways, this is my first makes from the "Him First" digi stamp. I've coloured the images with my copics and for the potty chair, I printed it out a couple more times onto this paper I have in my stash that has a wood texture and then wiped my Whispers ink pads over the top to tone it in with the rest of the image. All the ribbon, rub ons and raised stickers (brains gone to sleep - can't remember their proper discriptive term :D ) are from my stash.
At some point I will be setting up a slide show for all my bits that I do for Stitchy Stamps. Please do pop along and have a look at all the digis, silhouettes and stuff that this talented lady churns out.
And just for good measure, if you click on this linkhttp://digital-inkco.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_60 you can go straight to the shop where you can buy them all.
Right I'm off to play some more, as there are lots of challenges out there that I want to do and I can't play at the same time as typing unfortunately.
Catch you all later.....
Sam x
