Last entry to the Crafty Pad for a while anyway

This is my last entry to The Crafty Pad challenges ... just for a little while as I'm doing my Guest DT stint for 4 weeks in October. I've used my new Butterflies and verse stamps from Debbie for this card and I think I'm taking out a few birds with one stone - as one it's obviously for the challenge at The Crafty Pad, two I think the challenge on trimmie is butterflies and dragonflies and three - it's actually getting sent to my hubbys nan as a thank you for Whitneys birthday card and money.

I'm back!!!!

I haven't been on for a few days as on Tuesday it was my little girls birthday and I got my nose stuck in the new book by Dan Brown and couldn't get it out until I'd finished reading it!

this week which is purple and circle. I've used Penny Pamper which is one of my new aquisitions from the lovely Debz, when I get round to it this is going to hang on my bathroom door - that way I shan't have to keep telling hubby's friends which one is the loo!!!

Oh and on another note, when I came on this morning I found out that I won last weeks challenge over at The Digital Ink Co challenge blog so I'm a happy bunny this morning.

Blog candy Galore

Now then to qualify for this you have to answer one question - If you were offered 1 million dollars for coming up with an image that could be used for any occasion (birthday, masculine, feminine, sympathy, etc) what would it be?

Now I've thought about this - hard enough to make my head hurt, (not very difficult I hear my buddies say heheheehe) and the only thing I can think of that would possibly cover all and any occassion is one of those modern art type thingies - blocks of colour separated by the thick black lines. Knowing me there's some sort of copyright thing, but I figured you could change the colours to suit the occassion or person and then add embellishments to feminise or masculinise. As you can tell this isn't my forte - I work with stuff where the hard work has already been done hehehe.

Oh well I'm off to try my luck anyway, (my hubby would agree that I'm very trying) but why don't you guys toddle off over there via the link on my sidebar and have a go.

Hi Judy!!!

A big welcome to Judy from M & M Designz blogspot. Please do pop over to her blog as she has some of the cutest digi stamp designs I've seen. They remind me of my kids when they were little and insisted on going around everywhere naked but for a pair of shoes - bless they were cute once upon a time!!! Nans Thanks you card

I made this card, after much nagging from my husband for his nan to say thanks for his birthday card.

I've used a stamp that I won in Max's Easter eggstravaganza (been looking for the perfect project for this stamp since I won it) and My Minds Eye - Bloom and Grow 6 x 6 papers. Inside I've used the same papers and peel offs from my stash. For the sentiment bit so that he can write in it I used a nestabilities shape that my good friend and fellow blogger
Mandy sent me. Please do go and visit her as she's a very talented lady.

Two mini challenge ATCs

I don't know whats going on with blogger here, but I can't see my piccys so I don't know what order they have come up in, but anyway..... one of them had a Dustin Pike dragon on and this one is for the G challenge at JJs Forum. The other one is an image I got from Digital Two For Tuesday and this one is going into Susies challenge on Craftbubble, the theme there is "Summer".

Retirement Sale...

I am currently working on a line of rubber stamps (don't worry I will still do Digi's) BUT some of the rubber designs will be similar to some of my past digi's. So I am retiring pages 1 thru 5 from my site. http://www.doodledragonstudios.com I am selling all images for $25.00. It is good until midnight Sept. 25th. I will not offer these again until Jan/Feb 2010, and at that point will have to see what was made into rubber and what wasn't and if there is a design conflict some of them might not return.... I cannot tell you who this company is just yet, they do a lot of outside the U.S. sales, which will be good for those Doodle Dragon fans living around the world...

It's my daughters birthday on the 22nd September and although she's only going to be 9 she can be a bit of a Diva. This is a digi stamp from Digital Ink Co - Reeces Designs. I think I'll be back there shortly to get some more as I love this one.

Have you seen what I've got!

Wow I'm so chuffed, which is why it's at the top of my sidebar...my little Guest DT blinkie thingy for The Crafty Pad. I couldn't believe it when I saw my name as one of the winners for the 4 week guest DT position, I clicked on my name and it went to my entry! I still e-mailed Debz though to ask if I was seeing things or if I had it right and I'd actually won.
I just hope the old mojo doesn't decide to go on holiday when it's my turn to do the DT work!!!

Dezinaworld challenge - Wings

I have called this little ATC - Inspired By Cheryl. It's not a patch on the fab ATCs Cheryl makes, but to be honest it my first attempt at this style of ATC.

Anyway as you have most probably guessed, this is for the challenge over at Dezinaworld (click on the name to take you straight there).

First of a few

Okay I've gotta type quick as I have a few posts to make. The top piccy is just a very quick ATC that I've called simply FLOWERS .All it is, is a recycled birthday card front and I still have another bit to make a card.

The next 2 piccys are cards that I made for my hubbys birthday yesterday. The Mr Men and Little Miss one was uber quick and was made from the bits inside Lets Make Cards. The second card is yet another shirt front card and I attempted some stitching on it - not happy with it as the sewing machine is pants for sewing on paper and card, it won't grip the card at all so it was sliding all over the place. I can tell you the air was extremely blue. Next time I try stitching on a card, I'll use my decent sewing machine instead.

Crafty Pad Challenge 36

Evening all. Just wanted to put these on quickly for the challenge over at The Crafty Pad .This is the fab stamp that I won from Rozzys blog candy and as I loved the stamp so much and the sketch is so versatile, I made two cards. I used My Minds Eye papers Bloom and Grow for the top card and Wild Asparagus for the bottom one.

The 4 x 4 below is one that I forgot to take a piccy of the other day and is another vintage image from Digital 2 for Tuesday.

Vintage challenge

After seeing the wonderful creations my friend Cheryl comes up with, I thought I'd bite the bullet and have a go at VINTAGE, hence all the other 4x4s and ATCs in the previous post.

I'm having a really big bite as I'm going to enter this one in the challenge over at Digital Two For Tuesday .

I had a lot of fun just colouring in these images last night. Wish me luck.

Morning all these were made just for a bit of fun to be honest, something else to make and I'm hooked on. They are ideal to for using up those odds and sods of paper that I seem to have tonnes of.

I've also made a couple of ATCs as well. I'm not normally a vintage person so I'd love to know what you think of these.

CASE it!!!

My Version

This is the challenge over at Funky Fairys this week as well as the blog hop (boy have i got a numb bum after that). CASE-ing stands for Copy And Share Everything. I've been to my buddy Andreas blog and CASE-d her shirt card. I've of course used a Funky Fairys downloadeable paper for my version. The only thing I've done differently is layer some strips of the same paper where the buttons are to simulate the multi-layers on a real shirt and added some fake stitching which a white pen as I'm far too lazy to get the sewing machine out.

The picture below is for a mini challenge at JJs Creations forum which is a 4 x 4 - well actually

I've combined 2. One being a 4 x 4 and the other being ornate.
