Matching Musical Dragonfly Card & Candle

Hi all.

Made these today. The candle took the longest as the wire kept breaking on me.

All I've done is - with the same image - is stamp and emboss with clear embossing powder on tissue paper for the candle and cut close to the image and adhere the tissue paper with the help of the heat gun and some greaseproof paper and on card for the card. I also stamped the image twice onto shrink plastic. I also cut these close to the image and punched holes with my crop-o-dile so that I could thread them onto some wire with some beads as further decoration for the candle as I felt the image didn't show up as well as it could.

A few more Fathers Day cards

Thought I'd upload these while I was here. I've got a couple of birthday cards too but I don't really want the recipients seeing them before the BIG day so they won't get put on until the weekend I'm afraid.

Smirk mobile charms

Just thought I'd have a play with the old shrink plastic - I love that stuff almost as much as embossing powder - and my Smirk stamps as they've been just a little neglected lately and this is what I came out with at the end of playtime.

C.R.A.F.T. challenge card

Afternoon peeps. Hope you are all well.

Just thought I'd enter the challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. this week as I needed to get Fathers Day cards made so it was as good an excuse as any to have a play with the Claire Curd stamps I bought recently.

Anyway more about the challenge - they've labelled it as 2 challenges in 1 as they've asked for a Fathers Day card combined with a colour combo of Brown and Blue. I got a little carried away and made two instead. These have both been stamped multiple times onto different paper and then paper pieced to give the desired effect.

If you look at the close up of the fisherman near his feet I've even put some water down with Anitas 3D clear gloss finish.

Retro Rose & Venaissance Cards & Candles

Afternoon peeps. I soooooo love these LLB ranges. I stamped and coloured in these images last night and made the cards and finished the candles off this morning as I had a later than usual start at work today.

Hope to get some more bits made today, but they are a secret for now. I also want to do the challenge at C.R.A.F.T. as it's a Fathers Day card combined with a colour combo of blue and brown.

Rightio then I'm off to get my dinner ready now and then some more playing is the order of the day.
