Yep if you havent got the gist of it yet from my title - we want to see your new stuff over at OSAAT this week. Now this can be a new frame that you are altering or a box, a new stamp or digi image, new ribbon, papers, embellishments... the list goes on. As long as it is new we want to see you use it in this weeks challenge.
Now I got my good buddy Stitch this week, so I chose one of her NEW digis called "Presents" which you can find here in Stitchy Bear Stamps. So that is my new item, unless you count my grey promarkers as I've only just bought them, of course from Kevin up there in the corner of my sidebar.
I do hope you're ready for this as it's a Christmas card and it's not June yet lol.
I hope you'll visit the rest of the DT and find out what new crafty stash they have used on their projects. I'm away for a couple of days with family and friends so I'll catch up with whatever you make with your new crafty stash when I get back.
Take care everyone

Uh oh I'm late....
I had one of those days yesterday - you know the ones....where you really don't have the energy even to be awake, let alone do anything. Well anyway I was like that yesterday and completely forgot about scheduling my blog post for this morning for the challenge over at Stampin with the Dragon so huge apologies girls for being so late!
Anyway this week we are being sponsored by my bestest buddy Stitchy of Stitchy Stamps so yet another fab excuse to play with her great digis.
I used "Got Game" which you can buy here at Stitchy Bear Stamps and I think this is just fab those footy mad boys out there especially with the World Cup literally just around the corner.
I hope you like my little man and I'll be back at the latest on Sunday with the new challenge from OSAAT.
Take care now and have a lovely day.

WOYWW 26th May
Sorry I haven't been around for a little while but things always seem to get in the way hehehe. Anyway hopefully I've resolved the issue of piccies that wont come up bigger (fingers crossed anyway) so you guys can snoop better and you will also be able to see my new toy now. And no it's not a cricut lol!! Unfortunately I've not had much time to play with it because the lappy I installed the software on is taking forever to do anything so I definitely think that it's terminal for the old Toshiba.
Anyway here are the latest piccies of the mess on my desk.
I have loads of things buried on there somewhere that have been started and need to be finished today so I best get on and find them so I can get them done.
Happy snooping and join in the fun HERE .
Take care peeps.

Furry and feathery friends - we love them at OSAAT
That's our challenge this week over at OSAAT and I got to work with the extremely talented, (as they all are at Stitchy Bear Stamps ) Claire AKA Hope Jacare. The digi I used is called "Scatty cat" and you can get it for HALF PRICE for the rest of this week as the sale is still on until the end of the month.
Anyway enough babbling, here is my card.
I hope you will join in the fun over at OSAAT and check out the other DT girls fab makes. Oh and on top of our regular prize of 3 digis from the store and the GD spot, the overall winner this week will also win a pack of SUMMER Promarkers from my new buddy Kevin at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fatscat-Art-Craft-and-Graphic-Shop/ . Unfortunately I think he only ships here in the UK, but he is super fast on the delivery - every order I have had from him comes the next day (as long as I haven't ordered at silly o'clock in the evening of course) and his prices are extremely reasonable.
Have a fab crafty week peeps and have fun.

And your challenge should you chose to accept it....
this week at OSAAT is to make "Anything BUT a card". We also have a fabulous sponsor this week who you nearly all know - GLITTERBABE. For my little creation this week I used "King Kat" and made a milk carton out of e-flute card (very thin corrugated card)...I dont think you can buy this card but as I used to work in a printing and packaging firm, my boss used to ask me if I could make any use of the off cuts....of course I said yes and this is the first time I have got to use any of my stash.
I found a tute for these milk cartons on SCS, but me being me I had to tweek it just a bit and when you know the basics you dont really need to follow the measurements. It is really simple to do and I'm trying to think of other things I can use it for now.
Anyway I hope you'll join in with our fun challenge this week.
Take care and I'll see you at OSAAT sometime.
Sam x
P.S.
I'm entering my little milk carton into the following challenges
http://dareu2digistamp.blogspot.com/2010/05/challenge-37-anything-goes.html

and thanks to Tammy T and threadbare for finding these - yeah okay I nabbed them from you both lol (well knowing our Susan she's most probably got these too heheehe)

Going dotty over at OSAAT
Hello everyone and yes it's Sunday again and over at OSAAT we are going DOTTY this week - polka dots spots whatever you feel. I've used the lovely Lexis "Auri" (I do hope I've spelt that right or she won't speak to me again lmao) and I've coloured her with my promarkers. I love these pens you know, I really do. I loved my copics but these are so much more "Sam" friendly as I'm on the little heavy handed side occassionally and the bendy brush tip of the copics was my bug bear on more than one occasion hehehe.
For my inspiration this week (as I'm lacking it a bit at the moment) I used sketch # 61 from card patterns blog
http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/2010/04/sketch-61.html . This is an old one from a couple of weeks ago but it fitted my Auri perfectly as I already had her cut out in a circle.
I'm having a little break as head DT over at OSAAT for a while as I need to get a few personal things sorted out this end. I'll still be about and for now I'm leaving you in the capable (but overflowing) hands of Stitchy so I hope you'll join in with our challenges as you have been and lend her and the rest of the team your support.
Take care guys

Finally....I figured out what to do
The title is a little odd I know, but when you know the reason behind it, it will all make sense. If you saw my post from earlier today, you will know that my MIL had requested that one. Well my FIL asked for one as well for their brother in laws birthday. Well as I don't know him very well, I really didn't have the foggiest what to do for him. Well after taking my dogs for a walk to try and clear the headache that was brewing in my head, I had a lightbulb moment. Since he has been over here from Somerset, he has commandered my FILs reclining armchair. After searching the net for a free armchair template and not finding anything, I set to work on making my own and here is the finished project.
I'm quite pleased with the finished result and I'd love to know what you guys think.
Oh one more thing. I caught one of the kittens quite literally having a cat nap this afternoon.
Okay, I'm done for the day and I think I have had quite a productive day for a change.
Night all, take care.

Baby Ellie
I love it when a plan comes together and it has for this card. I have 2 challenges to enter it into and as I haven't got round to doing any lately so I'm chuffed to bits. It also goes towards my make as a DT member for Stamping Dragon and the digi and paper itself has been printed out for best part of a week (possibly nearer two weeks to be honest) and finally, my MIL asked me to make a card to welcome the newest member of the May family to this world.
So without further ado, here is my card.
I've taken the sketch from Sketch Saturday and moved the big circle over to the side a little so I could get the new babies name, date of birth and weight in on the front of the card as well. So I'm entering this there and I'm also entering it into Lexis challenge which is "Animals". For the inside, I've nicked an idea from my good buddy Clare AKA Threadbare and put another little ellie on the inside. It finishes it off I think.
If you like this stamp and paper pack (the paper I've used comes with it if you want) you can purchase it from Stitchy Bear Stamps who are having a huge HALF PRICE sale for the whole of this month. Also over on our group page at SNR - http://snrcardiverse.ning.com/group/stitchybearstamps we have our sister challenge to OSAAT running which is to do a card for Mothers Day -
"Since Mother's Day is next weekend, I thought that a project for mom/mum would make for a good challenge. Stitchy has so kindly given me her breakfast with mom stamp to let you all use. Now you must email me at tmt0221@aol.com with challenge is the subject line for the image. Only get the image if you plan to do the challenge please. Make any project you like using the stamp and post it here. The challenge will run until next Friday, May 7th at 9 pm. The winner will be chosen right after that and will win a free stamp of their choice from Stitchy. I can't wait to see what you all create" Wow a free stamp to use - even I didn't know about that one...I might have to do it just for the stamp lol hehehee. Tammy would love to see some of you guys join in with the fun over there as would the rest of the guys involved with OSAAT.
Okay, I'm off to find some pain killers now as I'm starting to get the headache from hell.
Have a lovely day peeps.

WOYWW 5th May
Blimey, where is the time going people. Another month over and another week at WOYWW AKA The Stamping Ground. I've had a bit of a change around since my last visit to WOYWW as I now have a new toy - of course it's buried already so I'm gonna let you be nosey to your hearts content and see if you can spy it.
The card you can see will be in my next post and it gets 2 birds with one stone and a couple of challenges too. Once I've posted that, then I have to start on another card requested by my FIL for his brother in law. Problem is I don't really know anything about him so I could get lost in my stash trying to find something suitable. Hopefully I'll have more time to get around some of the othermad lovely ladies that take part as I always seem to run out, but we have had a very busy couple of weeks at OSAAT and it took me all week just to do the comments on there.
I hope you'll join us and have a good old nosey about.
Take care all

One for the kids...?
Wow another week over and you guys are just astounding us over at OSAAT with the amount of entries you are putting in for us to look at. To be honest I kinda thought "Flowers" might be popular - but I wasn't ready for the response we acually got, so I'd like to thank each and every one of you for making it worth while setting up the challenge blog and keeping it running.
Anyway onto this weeks challenge....your brief is simple - "Childrens". It can be a card for a child, a scrapbook LO with your kids/grandkids in (or nieces/nephews) or simply have a child on it. My card has one of our lovely sponsors (Angela from Sew Many Challenges) digis on it called "Duncan with Owen". With Fathers day in June, (next month already ARGHHHH!!!) I figured this could be a lovely little card from a little boy to his dad.
The image has been coloured with my newly acquired Promarkers which I think I am in love with. I mean, I loved my copics but the brush tip was always a bit of a bug bear for me as I am a little heavy handed sometimes and it cramps my hand up if I'm trying really hard to colour intricate little details.
Anyway, I hope you'll join in the fun once again this week as coming round to your blogs keeps me out of trouble (it also keeps me from crafting but it's sooooo worth it to see all your talent out there).
Take care all.
Sam x
PS Don't forget over at Stitchy Bear Stamps there is a 50% sale going on for the WHOLE month and we also have a little group on SNR and our lovely Tammy #2 has got a little challenge going on over there too if you fancy another one.
