New releases over at Stitchy Bear

Good morning one and all. I'm not actually here this morning, I'm at a car boot sale at my local school so I'm actually doing this on Saturday morning - but anyway I digress (nothing unusual there I hear you all cry). Anyway the girls at Stitchy Bear Stamps have all made some fantabulous new releases for us all to play with which are now available. I had my good buddy Janette of Stamping Dragon Designs and her new release is called "Purrfect Love".
It screamed out to me a cat lovers wedding day - not much good if they don't both like cats really hehehe, but this is what I made.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added a touch of one of my sakura pens on the moon to make it just a little shimmery and on the love heart I added glitter and the put Anitas 3D Gloss over the top. Paper is from a DCWV wedding stack if I remember rightly and the sentiment stamp is from the Docrafts Forever Friends Wedding set.
Might be be back with an update on how the car boot went - if hubby lets me have the lappy that is!
Take care

New! New! New! We want to see your new stash!!!

Yep if you havent got the gist of it yet from my title - we want to see your new stuff over at OSAAT this week. Now this can be a new frame that you are altering or a box, a new stamp or digi image, new ribbon, papers, embellishments... the list goes on. As long as it is new we want to see you use it in this weeks challenge.
Now I got my good buddy Stitch this week, so I chose one of her NEW digis called "Presents" which you can find here in Stitchy Bear Stamps. So that is my new item, unless you count my grey promarkers as I've only just bought them, of course from Kevin up there in the corner of my sidebar.
I do hope you're ready for this as it's a Christmas card and it's not June yet lol.

I hope you'll visit the rest of the DT and find out what new crafty stash they have used on their projects. I'm away for a couple of days with family and friends so I'll catch up with whatever you make with your new crafty stash when I get back.
Take care everyone

Furry and feathery friends - we love them at OSAAT

That's our challenge this week over at OSAAT and I got to work with the extremely talented, (as they all are at Stitchy Bear Stamps ) Claire AKA Hope Jacare. The digi I used is called "Scatty cat" and you can get it for HALF PRICE for the rest of this week as the sale is still on until the end of the month.
Anyway enough babbling, here is my card.

I hope you will join in the fun over at OSAAT and check out the other DT girls fab makes. Oh and on top of our regular prize of 3 digis from the store and the GD spot, the overall winner this week will also win a pack of SUMMER Promarkers from my new buddy Kevin at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fatscat-Art-Craft-and-Graphic-Shop/ . Unfortunately I think he only ships here in the UK, but he is super fast on the delivery - every order I have had from him comes the next day (as long as I haven't ordered at silly o'clock in the evening of course) and his prices are extremely reasonable.
Have a fab crafty week peeps and have fun.

Baby Ellie

I love it when a plan comes together and it has for this card. I have 2 challenges to enter it into and as I haven't got round to doing any lately so I'm chuffed to bits. It also goes towards my make as a DT member for Stamping Dragon and the digi and paper itself has been printed out for best part of a week (possibly nearer two weeks to be honest) and finally, my MIL asked me to make a card to welcome the newest member of the May family to this world.
So without further ado, here is my card.

I've taken the sketch from Sketch Saturday and moved the big circle over to the side a little so I could get the new babies name, date of birth and weight in on the front of the card as well. So I'm entering this there and I'm also entering it into Lexis challenge which is "Animals". For the inside, I've nicked an idea from my good buddy Clare AKA Threadbare and put another little ellie on the inside. It finishes it off I think.

If you like this stamp and paper pack (the paper I've used comes with it if you want) you can purchase it from Stitchy Bear Stamps who are having a huge HALF PRICE sale for the whole of this month. Also over on our group page at SNR  - http://snrcardiverse.ning.com/group/stitchybearstamps we have our sister challenge to OSAAT running which is to do a card for Mothers Day -
"Since Mother's Day is next weekend, I thought that a project for mom/mum would make for a good challenge.  Stitchy has so kindly given me her breakfast with mom stamp to let you all use.  Now you must email me at tmt0221@aol.com with challenge is the subject line for the image.  Only get the image if you plan to do the challenge please.  Make any project you like using the stamp and post it here.  The challenge will run until next Friday, May 7th at 9 pm.  The winner will be chosen right after that and will win a free stamp of their choice from Stitchy.    I can't wait to see what you all create"  Wow a free stamp to use - even I didn't know about that one...I might have to do it just for the stamp lol hehehee. Tammy would love to see some of you guys join in with the fun over there as would the rest of the guys involved with OSAAT.
Okay, I'm off to find some pain killers now as I'm starting to get the headache from hell.
Have a lovely day peeps.

One for the kids...?

Wow another week over and you guys are just astounding us over at OSAAT with the amount of entries you are putting in for us to look at. To be honest I kinda thought "Flowers" might be popular - but I wasn't ready for the response we acually got, so I'd like to thank each and every one of you for making it worth while setting up the challenge blog and keeping it running.
Anyway onto this weeks challenge....your brief is simple - "Childrens". It can be a card for a child, a scrapbook LO with your kids/grandkids in (or nieces/nephews) or simply have a child on it. My card has one of our lovely sponsors (Angela from Sew Many Challenges) digis on it called "Duncan with Owen". With Fathers day in June, (next month already ARGHHHH!!!) I figured this could be a lovely little card from a little boy to his dad.

The image has been coloured with my newly acquired Promarkers which I think I am in love with. I mean, I loved my copics but the brush tip was always a bit of a bug bear for me as I am a little heavy handed sometimes and it cramps my hand up if I'm trying really hard to colour intricate little details.
Anyway, I hope you'll join in the fun once again this week as coming round to your blogs keeps me out of trouble (it also keeps me from crafting but it's sooooo worth it to see all your talent out there).
Take care all.

PS Don't forget over at Stitchy Bear Stamps there is a 50% sale going on for the WHOLE month and we also have a little group on SNR and our lovely Tammy #2 has got a little challenge going on over there too if you fancy another one.

Floral Fancies at OSAAT

Hello once again you lovely bloggers. It's that time of week again - yep that's right, it's OSAAT time!! Another week has just flown by and we are now nearly at the end of the month....I just don't know what Father Time is up to - maybe he gets excited about Christmas too, who knows. Anyway, like I said it's OSAAT time so on with my project. Our theme this week is "Flowers" so we want to see flowers on your project whatever it is you make. Now these can be handmade flowers, flowers on a backing paper, flowers on your stamp, flowers attached to your project  - you name it as long as it's got flowers there somewhere you can enter it to this weeks challenge.
I have been paired up with Lil Diva Stamps this week and she's gonna kill me I know as I've forgotten what this cutie is called. Anyway I've made a wall dangly with her. She's been coloured in with my watercolour pencils, some fluffy puffy stuff on the heart on her dress and a few beads stuck onto the flower centre that is in the pot. I had some paper that I had printed off ages ago in just the right colours so I used that as the backing and the flowers are from my stash and I used the same technique for the brad in the centre of the top flower as I did the flower in the pot.

You can get this digi and other fab digis from the store right here and you can pay in all sorts of different currency too not just US dollars, so please pop by and have a wander around as there is a very wide selection of styles and papers too.
Okay, that's me done here for another week and I'll see you as I pop round your entries.
Take care

Thank you, thank you and once again - Thank you

Blimey the weeks are just zooming past now aren't they!? I'm almost missing the dull, gloomy weather coz I have more time to craft then hehehe. Anyway it's OSAAT time and I had the chance to work with our newest member of the team Sassy - AKA Robyns Fetish. With the theme being "Thank You" (did you get that from the title hehehe) I chose the oh so cute and sweet "A Little Birdie Told Me".

At the moment it is just an ATC, but I think I will use it on a card as a topper at some point. I just ran out of time. I think I have my finger in a little too many pies at the moment, that and chatting away to all my cyber buddies, trying to get the garden sorted oh man when is the 48 hour day gonna come into force - not that I want anyone to have to work longer hours but we'd all have time for everything else then from homework to just spending time with the family - oh and crafting too, thats the most important thing ain't it now!!
Okay well I'm going to love you and leave you and I hope to see some of you in our challenge this week. Thanks to all of you that made it another fabulous week at OSAAT by entering your lovely projects for us all to see.
Remember the store is open 24 hours a day, so if you ever wake up at silly o'clock in the morning and can't sleep - just pop over to Stitchy Bear Stamps and have a little browse...I always sleep better when I've had a good old spend up...hahaha!

Hehehehe the big reveal

Two things - one I've gone and started another blog Sams Saucy Shack and the only thing you will find on there is my creations made from linework by Stitchy of the lovely and talented Barbara Jensen. They will be coming on here too but I'll save the close up pics for the Saucy Shack. Now then these two cards are basically finished barring a sentiment but I figured as they will be going into my store soon, I'll leave them as is and then they can be for whatever the person who buys them wants them for - I'll do that when they tell me what they require hehehe.
Anyway this is Stitchys brand new stamp, " Dark Angel" which you can buy from the store.

Hope you like these cards.
Take care now

Brite Eyes

My buddy Stitch has been asked by the very talented Ms Barbara Jensen to do a collaboration. Stitch draws her artwork into digis, and Ms Jensen in turn turns some of Stitchys digis into clipart. The best bit of all of this is - I get to play with the digis hehehehe goody goody!!
Now this image has been called "Brite Eyes" by our Stitch (I don't know if that is the name from when Barbara did the original or not, as all this tag art and stuff is new to me) and I love it! You can buy it from Stitchy Bear Stamps store here. There are more in the pipeline and some maybe a little naughty, (great for fellas cards hehehe) so if they appear I will be putting them in a seperate blog away from little un's eyes if you get my meaning.
Anyway onto my card.

I hope you like it and don't forget there is still time to enter our Easter Egg Hunt/challenge over at OSAAT. Don't forget there are vouchers from Simon Says store up for grabs for the top 3 as chosen by us all this week.

Take care all

We have all the creators new releases for our projects this week - I have CJ AKA Cowgirl Up Stamps and this cute bunny and eggs called "Eggdrop". I haven't made a card - it's just a .... thing! I've decoupaged the image and the eggs and I hope you can see that in the second piccy. The background print it's all mounted onto is a freebie from scrapbookscrapbook.com - they have loads on there for Easter, baptisms you name it I think they've got it.

Yasmins Birthday

Where have the last 15 years gone?!! It is my middle daughters birthday today and she is 15 - blimey!! Anyway I made this card for her with a digi stamp by my mate Stitchy which you can pick up from the store HERE. As I asked for an emo girl that is what the lovely Stitch made for me and in honour of my daughter she named her "Yasmin". I have coloured her fairly softly but that was only to go with the backing paper, which is made up of some images that my blogging buddy and fellow DT member Susan found for me on the web somewhere - all I have is the initials of TS hehehee.

Anyway, I hope my middle baby likes it even though it doesn't have horses on it (I got fed up of doing horses every year).
I'll be back shortly with another litle creation and guess what - I have challenges to enter it into YAYYYY!!!!

Whoo hooo!!! New digi store....

Hi there crafty buddies - I can't contain myself any longer! I just have to let you know about the new store. Some of you may have noticed a revamp of our challenge blog OSAAT. We are now brought to you by Stitchy Bear Stamps which is my buddy Stitch and her buddy Sue's (you may know her as Beary Dust stamps) new venture. They were just embarking on this venture when we all got the news of Digital-Inks closure. This left a few of the girls with nowhere to sell their wares so they have all got together and opened a new store called Stitchy Bear Stamps.

The store is now open, but please "Bear" with them as it takes some time to change all their previews and then upload - remember some of these girls had over 100 products. You'll most probably see new stuff in there before you see a lot of the older stuff come in as they can add these to the new preview easier than they can change the old stuff.
I personally think they have done very well to get this open in such a short time, so please give them a little time for things to start going in (remember some of them have jobs too). If I could help them I would but all the PSPing is a little over my head still and zen cart...well I can buy easy enough lol......
I do hope you'll pop over and visit them soon - remember, they need a little time to get your old favs in there but you will start seeing bits trickle in there now.
Take care
Sam x
