Good morning you lovely bloggers, the sun is shining and I have a little breeze coming through the window as I get this ready to go live (it's Saturday morning as I write this). Is it hot enough for you all! Blimey, I like the heat but it's such a heavy heat in this country, not like when you go abroad for your hols. Hey ho it's yet another excuse to stay indoors - makes a change from saying "I have to stay in because it's raining cats and dogs outside". Anyway, my slightly odd title is all about this weeks challenge over at OSAAT, which is "Military". Yep it's a bit of a doozy, but I think we all pulled it off. Basically, as long as you give your project a bit of an armed forces feel, whether that be by paper or by your choice of images then it's good to go. Now it doesn't matter what occassion you make it for so just go for it.
Here is my card for your inspiration this week. I've used Stitchys "Letters Home" digi which is available from the Stitchy Bear Stamps store.
I've made some flowers with help from a template and the paper is from Patternhead http://www.patternhead.com/ and he has quite a few freebies available to download - well worth a look.
Hope you like my card for this weeks challenge, and remember, it's Lizzy B up again next week - ah another week off...I could get used to this heheheehe.
Take care now and I'll be back soon with some more crafty makes.

I'm back....
with the cards that were splattered on my table in my earlier WOYWW post, so without further ado here is the card I made for my hubby. This is a download from CUP (CraftsUPrint in case you didn't know - I know what my staich is like for some of these initialed thingys lol x) designed by Julie Green. Now this is meant to be for a little lads birthday but it just looks so much like my James that I couldn't resist (his bike looks like that too but with lots of added mud hehehe). Oh almost forgot, for the background I inked up with my versamark pad, one of my free stamps that I had lying around in my drawer and just stamped randomly here there and everywhere.
This is the other card. The image is by my buddy Stitchy of Stitchy Stamps (which you can buy from the
Stitchy Bear Stamps store) called "Naptime", the little text with scroll is from Lindsays Stamp Stuff and the paper is from a place I found only yesterday, http://www.patternhead.com/ loads of free repeat patterns there for you to nab. Anyway this card has been made for hubbys boss. His better half had their first baby just the other day - I was told her name was Piglet (lol they are pig farmers hehehe) as they couldn't think of anything at the time, I do believe they have changed that to a more regular name now but James had forgotten what it was by the time he came home last night.
Anyway I hope you like these two little offerings for today, I'm now off to finish my DT card for OSAAT before the idea that is in my head dissappears.
Bye for now
Sam x
EDIT
oh I just realised this second card fits in with the challenge over at The Crafty Pad this week with their challenge of Animal Fun.

New! New! New! We want to see your new stash!!!
Yep if you havent got the gist of it yet from my title - we want to see your new stuff over at OSAAT this week. Now this can be a new frame that you are altering or a box, a new stamp or digi image, new ribbon, papers, embellishments... the list goes on. As long as it is new we want to see you use it in this weeks challenge.
Now I got my good buddy Stitch this week, so I chose one of her NEW digis called "Presents" which you can find here in Stitchy Bear Stamps. So that is my new item, unless you count my grey promarkers as I've only just bought them, of course from Kevin up there in the corner of my sidebar.
I do hope you're ready for this as it's a Christmas card and it's not June yet lol.
I hope you'll visit the rest of the DT and find out what new crafty stash they have used on their projects. I'm away for a couple of days with family and friends so I'll catch up with whatever you make with your new crafty stash when I get back.
Take care everyone
Sam x
Oh I almost forgot - I'm hoping to enter into the following challenges too.
http://daisydoodlescreativechallenges.blogspot.com/ - anything goes
http://ooh-la-la-creationschallenges.blogspot.com/ - bright and cheerful
http://mytimetocraftchallenge.blogspot.com/ - vivid greetings cards

Uh oh I'm late....
I had one of those days yesterday - you know the ones....where you really don't have the energy even to be awake, let alone do anything. Well anyway I was like that yesterday and completely forgot about scheduling my blog post for this morning for the challenge over at Stampin with the Dragon so huge apologies girls for being so late!
Anyway this week we are being sponsored by my bestest buddy Stitchy of Stitchy Stamps so yet another fab excuse to play with her great digis.
I used "Got Game" which you can buy here at Stitchy Bear Stamps and I think this is just fab those footy mad boys out there especially with the World Cup literally just around the corner.
I hope you like my little man and I'll be back at the latest on Sunday with the new challenge from OSAAT.
Take care now and have a lovely day.

Kisses for you.....
Good afternoon everybody. Hope you are all well and basking in this lovely sun we are having at the moment. Anyway this morning I finally got two cards done, whose elements have been sitting here on my table for at least the last couple of weeks.
This is from my buddy Stitchy yet again and yes, it's one of Barbara Jensens posers that she has turned into line art for her. Now then I have done basically the same card each time but in different colourways and a slightly different arrangement too.
The little sentiment and lipstick kiss are from Royal and Langnickel Clear choice "Special Occasions" mini stamp pack.
Well that's it from me at the moment. Hopefully I'll get a little more done tonight as hubby is most probably going out to play footy with his mates so he'll be out of my hair for the night. Oh and don't forget where you can buy this fab digi stamp....yep, that's the one and the only - Stitchy Bear Stamps.
Enjoy the rest of your day and have a good weekend

Yasmins Birthday
Where have the last 15 years gone?!! It is my middle daughters birthday today and she is 15 - blimey!! Anyway I made this card for her with a digi stamp by my mate Stitchy which you can pick up from the store HERE. As I asked for an emo girl that is what the lovely Stitch made for me and in honour of my daughter she named her "Yasmin". I have coloured her fairly softly but that was only to go with the backing paper, which is made up of some images that my blogging buddy and fellow DT member Susan found for me on the web somewhere - all I have is the initials of TS hehehee.
Anyway, I hope my middle baby likes it even though it doesn't have horses on it (I got fed up of doing horses every year).
I'll be back shortly with another litle creation and guess what - I have challenges to enter it into YAYYYY!!!!

A couple of Mothers Day cards and another couple too....
Arghhh! I just don't seem to have enough time at the moment. Two of these images on the cards have been coloured up for the last few weeks, but I just haven't had enough time to acually finish them off. No challenges attached to any of these cards as I haven't got the time to look for any at the mo. Anyway the two Mothers day cards are from a freebie pack in a mag I bought the other day but I didn't use the cards that they supplied with them as I couldn't get it to look anything different to what they had done in the mag. What's the point in doing the same thing?!
The "One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, Floor!" image is from Bugaboo if I remember rightly which I got as part of the 50/50 club and I just made a simple step card with it.
The "Sassy Girl" as I've called it, is an image from my good buddy Stitch and I can't remember for the life of me her proper name and I made a boingy card for this image as it's quite small. I really should have dug out the instructions for it and made my life easier but instead I made it up as I went along.....never again!!
Anyway here are the piccies of my creations - hope you like them.
Take care

Another card for today
and three challenges to boot as well. I've had this little beastie all coloured up since last week, but alas no time to do him (or real inclination either as I was feeling under the weather at the start of last week) but hey I got the time and three challenges perfect too now, so all things happen for a reason -PROOF! heheehee
Okay this card is going into these challenges
Lexi's Creations Spots and/or Stripes
Kaboodle Doodles Spots and/or Stripes and also
Rosie Dee's Just for him.
The image is "Dino" from my buddy Stitchy of course.
Oh dear my peace and quiet for the day is nearly over - nearly time to pick my daughter up from school....boo hoo. Better get these entered quick before I run out of time, so I best stop yapping and get on.
Take care everyone

New card whoo hooo!!!!
Curse my hubby having last week off - I hardly got anything crafty done but I did finally get this one finished last night. No challenges in mind as hubby nicked the computer off me most of the week so I'm a bit like a fish out of water at the moment and I've got no idea what is going on in challenge blog land so if anyone thinks of anything that this can go in to - just shout at me and I'll love you forever!!!
Anyway onto my card. I've used a digi image from my buddy Stitch called China Doll. It was one of her last ones from 2009 and she is just getting back into the swing of things now as she managed to get herself the shingles and it affected her eye so she's been in a lot of pain lately and not been able to do what she loves the most, (or the housework by all accounts!!!) making digis for everyone to use on their projects! I had loads of fun making this one as I got the glitter out as well - one red sparkly dog coming up (and the cats too) and the old trusty Sakura Glaze pen. I had forgotten I'd got it actually but I'm sure I'll be needing a new one again soon now that I've rediscovered it as I'm using it loads again.
Hope you like it anyway - oh and guess what....it's snowing again!
Take care everyone and watch out later for Digital-Ink Co's new challenge.
Okay thanks to Susan for letting me know about these two (looked for the others but couldn't find them - think my eyes have stopped working properly hehee), so here goes.
I'm entering this into Incy Wincy Designs Pink/Red and black
and
Aly's Sunday challenge and it is uncanny how similar her sketch is (twist it a bit) to my card with out me even seeing it before.
Thanks Susan - you're a star hun!!

MAWTT challenge card
Morning all. I had this card finished last night, took the photos at about 6 am this morning and now at 10 am I'm just getting around to posting it. Well the dog does need his walk first thing or he constantly bugs me until I do take him and he so lonely at the moment bless him. Our female Staffordshire bull terrier is just coming into season (yay :( not ) so my hubby is taking her with him every day to work out of the way so he's a little lost without her at the minute. Anyway enough of this babble and onto my card.
I've used the lovely "Miss Weeble" image from Stitchy Stamps and printed some backing papers off from the Joanna Sheen "Tales of the Orient" double CD. I've glittered around the shapes on the parasol and her flowers and the bows in her hair and I've also used a glittery embossing powder on the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.
I'm entering this into the challenge at MAWTT which is a sketch which I've turned on it's side and also as a little theme they have requested "Something Digi" so my papers and Stitchys image covers that.
Oh it's of course coloured with my trusty copics - what else heheehehe.
Hope you like it.

Oh yeah...I'm back!!!!
I've had a bit of trouble getting motivated lately on the crafting front but I think I'm over that now as here is number 2 for today and number 3 is nearly done as well.
Okay well this is for the challenge over at Lexi's Creations which is "one for the boys with blue and green". I've used a digi stamp from my mate Stitchy called "Army Dude" and I think he's LUVERLY (for a frog) so not too disimilar to our boys in uniform (and I don't mean any disrespect to our girls with that comment - but fellas in uniform....Y.U.M.M.Y!!!!).
Anyway I had to throw a pair of hubbys combats out as they had ripped beyond repair so I did no more and swiped the buttons of off them and cut myself a few bits of decent material and a label - I can't read the writting on it now though, but what the heck...when do fellas actually look at their cards!!!
I hope you like this as I'm quite pleased with how it's turned out.

Cupcake challenges - Take One!!
Well it doesn't say anywhere that I can see, that I can't put two entries into the same challenge so here is my first offering for Cupcake Challenges "Baby" challenge. This image is an oldie from Stitchy Stamps called "Him First" and I love it so much I just had to use it again. Yet again, it is an easel card but it most probably is my last one for a while as I really must try out something different again.
Oh by the way the bingo card was a freebie download that I found online somewhere... My Grafico and it's by Lindsays Stamp Stuff. Nearly forgot about that you know hehehe - I am terrible ain't I?!

I'm Back!!
And here is challenge number two for the year. This one is for the new Christmas challenge blog ABC Christmas Challenge and the challenge is of course A for .... Angels - with the added challenge of using beads or charms. I've made a little ATC (I haven't made one for ages) with a super sassy angel image from Stitchy Stamps and this image is so new it's not on her blog yet and might not even be in the shop yet either.
I hope you like her anyway and when you get a chance pop over and see my buddy and all the fabby digis that she creates. Without further ado....here she is!
Catch you all later.
