I've finally started them!!!!

Yep, the onslaught of Christmas has started. I promised myself last year that I wouldn't be caught out this Christmas, so I have started on my Christmas cards already. These are freebie papers from last years Christmas mag - and no, I can't remember which one it is but I'm sure there are some of you lovely people out there that bought it last year and know exactly which publication it is!

There will be more stuff put on in the next few months as I'm even going to make my own advent calendars this year too courtesey of My Craft Studio - A Classic Christmas. I just want to be able to put whatever sweeties I want in my calendar........ooooooooh I'm getting sooooooooooooo excited - mince pies, cream, custard, lots of alcohol, mmmmmm yummy!

Right I'm off to look for worthy candidates for some awards that I need to give out so take care everyone.

Here they are - the girlie cards!!!!

Finally got round to taking the photos of the finished girlie cards, struggled a little with these as I'm not a pink girlie girl but I'm a stubborn so and so, so I kept going and this is what I came up with. A couple of them I'm not entirely happy with as I think they're too simple but my little girl likes them so thats good enough for me (I think it's just the colours though heheehe).

Anyway, gotta go, unfortunately the washing up doesn't do itself :(

Pirates of Gooderstone 1,2,3,& 4

Sorry for the cheesy title but what else do you name a bunch of cards with Pirates on them - I must admit I'd be happier if they had the lovely Johnny Depp on instead .... but then they'd be covered in drool - not really a good look for cards !!!!

I'm working on some girly ones at the moment - these are all made with freebie papers from one of the magazines that I get but as I have a brain like a sieve at the moment - I've forgotten which one it is - oh no here it is, they're from Papercraft Essentials as are the girly ones I'm playing with at the moment.

Right I'm off to play for a little bit more and then maybe I'll have something else to put on here later.

Evening all. Sorry I've not been around for a while - had to have one of our dogs put down as he bit our daughter so I haven't really felt like doing much in the last week, but it is our wedding anniversary today so I had to get my bum in gear yesterday to make my hubby a card....and although I'm not totally happy with it, it felt good to be crafting and I feel a lot better for it.
